Honestly nothing to complain about. Clean hotel with amicable and helpful staff, comfortable base for wedding. Savoury breakfast, lots of options available. Lovely building, stunning and wonderful location near to the local pubs, and the beautiful surroundings of Portmagee, Skellig islands and Kerry Cliffs. Also, near everything you want to see in the Ring of Kerry.

The hotel was an excellant base for enjoying a really quiet area, very close to the local pubs and restaurants, Skellig Michael, and the bridge. We got a room with walk-in showers. The breakfast was savoury and delicious, the check in was simple. Everything was simply perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely country cottage on Valentia Island. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had access to a microwave and fridge which was perfect for traveling with our toddler. The common areas were well-maintained and clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We also appreciated the privacy of the off-road and spacious grounds, and the convenience of having a hair salon on-site for special occasions. The host, Maria, went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home and even assisted us in making our dream of visiting Skellig Michael come true. Her delicious and attractively presented breakfasts were a great start to each day. We highly recommend Maria and her beautiful B&B to anyone visiting this stunning corner of Ireland.

Truly enjoyed this family-friendly hotel and its family ambience from the moment I entered. This venue was set in a remote area very close to the bridge from Port Magee, an island, rural with breathtaking sencery and the beautiful surroundings of Portmagee, Skellig islands and Kerry Cliffs.

Maria, the host, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The room was spotless and had all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a great variety of options. Maria's knowledge of the island and her tips for the best views were really helpful in making the most of my time on Valentia Island. The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the island and even getting a taste of the local music scene in Portmagee. The stunning scenery around Valentia, especially the views of the Skelligs, was truly breathtaking. I originally planned to stay for just one night but ended up extending my stay for a second night because I was having such a fantastic time.

While everything about my stay was great, I did find it a bit chilly in the evenings after sitting outside in Portmagee. Having an extra blanket in the room would have been handy.

Could be great for wedding. The place was clean and we loved family room. The location was incredible and magnificent, very close to an island, rural with breathtaking sencery, such a peaceful area, and the bridge from Port Magee. Furthermore, near everything you want to see in the Ring of Kerry❤

There were small beds.

The communication with the staff before my arrival was quick and helpful. the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. the room was sparkling clean and incredibly comfortable. I loved the fact that I could make a cuppa in the room whenever I wanted. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the pancakes with fruits. the location of the cottage was perfect, with easy access to Valentia Island and beautiful views of the countryside and farmland. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The family room was a bit tight for the four of us and lacked sufficient storage space and seating area. the price of the cottage was a bit high for the facilities provided, which made it feel overpriced.

The room was slightly small for 3 people with minimal storage. The B&B is overpriced for the facilities offered.

Our stay at the B&B was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and cozy, equipped with all necessary facilities. The location was convenient, especially for Skellig Island tours, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

The morning meal could have been improved by providing more options for a full Irish breakfast.

The location near Port Magee's bridge provided stunning views, and we can't wait to return to this lovely B&B.
